Best Buy Packs Droid 2 Bags – Droid 2 Global Moving In.

droid-2-discontinued

We all know how fast technology is moving! Although it seems like the Droid 2 just came out, it’s being kicked out to the curb by Best Buy, and it’s being replaced by the Droid 2 Global on November 11th.

The phone is slowly being removed from Best Buy shelves, and have flagged the Droid 2 as “discontinued” as seen above.

You blink your eyes, and the phone you drooled over when it was released, is now wrinkly, slow and hunched over in comparison to the new gadgets flooding the market… iSad.

Samsung Nails Three Content Deals for Galaxy Tab!

Samsung-Galaxy-Tab

The Samsung Galaxy Tab has nailed down three deals to carry media content. They include WHSmith for books, the Financial Times for news and Gameloft for gaming.

The Financial Times is also developing an HTML5 app specifically to run on Android OS, while WHSmith and Gameloft both have apps optimized to run on the Galaxy Tab. gameloft is also continuing to develop more games to run on the Galaxy in the near future, most likely after the Galaxy tab gets launched November 10th.

This is a great way for Samsung to position itself as an iPad competitor (killer) by doing content deals like this. Lets hope that the deals keep coming! I’m thinking EA Games, Netflix and Amazon would be awesome additions too…and Google TV of course!
