Motorola Olympus To Debut At CES?

Well, it looks like Motorola is spreading the love and not just making super phones for Verizon as of late.  In addition to their honeycomb tablet, Motorola is definitely gearing up to steal the show this year.  And thanks to a tipster over at IntoMobile, there is definitely a possibility that we can see the Motorola Olympus as early as next week during CES.  As we mentioned back in November, the device is definitely headed to AT&T land and aside from the Captivate, this will be their first REAL competitive Android device, putting to rest the shame the Back Flip left behind.  It looks like the iPhone is going to be giving up the spotlight for a while because the Olympus is packing quite the punch when it comes to the spec side of things.  Hit the break and checkout out the “mostly” confirmed specs on the device.  And if you’re one of the lucky people attending CES this year, don’t forget to stop back over and lets us know if the device measures up to all the hype. Vodafone Drops The 845 From £80 To £70, Handset Still Crap

Looks like between now and Jan 31’st England’s Vodafone is discounting the 845 from £80 pounds to £70 pounds, that’s about $108 US dollars.  But we’ve got to warn you folks, this model  makes an entry level Android device look like a Nexus S.  It’s a bit on the cheap side, material wise.  And after reviewing the device, it’s apparent that the phone sports a resistive touch screen, not capacitive, revealing that the screen requires a bit of a hard press to render any responses.  But hey, if you’re looking for a cheap, and we do mean cheap, entry level Android phone with 2.1 Eclair and no hopes of ever getting an update, most likely, then this is the phone for you.  Hit the break for a quick list of device specs.
